Terms and Conditions for NoQR

Effective date: August 30, 2026

Verify before making a transaction. NoQR can discover a UPI ID through Wi-Fi, scan one from a QR code, or generate a QR code for an ID you enter. It does not verify the business or person behind the UPI ID. Ensure that the bank-registered recipient name shown in your UPI app matches the person or business you are transacting with.

Acceptance

By downloading or using NoQR, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Understanding UPI

NoQR is intended for people who understand how UPI works, what a UPI ID is, how to make a transaction using one, and the safety measures to follow. By using NoQR, you confirm that you understand these basics and will ensure the bank-registered recipient name shown in your UPI app matches the intended person or business before making a transaction. About NoQR

NoQR provides nearby UPI ID discovery using Wi-Fi names near you and tools to create, save, update, delete, and share named QR codes for UPI IDs you enter. It can scan an existing QR code only to fill the UPI ID field while you add or update a Saved QR code. It can also copy or share a selected UPI ID and open an installed UPI app normally after copying the ID. The app may have limitations or behave differently across devices, Android versions, Wi-Fi hardware, cameras, or UPI apps.

NoQR is an independent utility. It is not a bank, a payment service provider, a third-party application provider, or a UPI app, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by NPCI, BHIM, any bank, or any UPI app.

Camera permission

NoQR may ask you to allow camera permission when it first opens after installation so the scan option in My UPI IDs is ready when you choose it. Camera permission is needed only for that optional QR-scanning action. You may deny or revoke it at any time; nearby Wi-Fi discovery and manually entering UPI IDs in My UPI IDs can still be used.

Any UPI IDs, QR codes, names, or recipient details shown in NoQR documentation, screenshots, or images are for demonstration only. Do not use them to make a transaction.

No payment functionality

NoQR does not process, authorise, or verify transactions. It only discovers, scans, or generates QR codes for UPI IDs and lets you copy or share a selected UPI ID. Open UPI app opens an installed UPI app normally after copying the ID; it does not send a payment link, amount, or transaction details. Any transaction takes place in the UPI app you choose and is subject to its own terms, security checks, and policies.

NoQR’s format checks do not confirm that a UPI ID is active, belongs to a particular person or business, or is authorised for a transaction. A scanned QR code or a QR code you create may still contain incorrect, outdated, or misleading information.

Your responsibility

NoQR does not verify the business or person behind a Wi-Fi name, QR code, or UPI ID. You are responsible for selecting the intended UPI ID and ensuring that the bank-registered recipient name shown in your UPI app matches the person or business you are transacting with before making a transaction.

You must ensure that every UPI ID, name, QR code, and other detail you create, update, display, or share through Saved QR codes is accurate, current, and authorised. Before saving or sharing, confirm that the QR code contains the intended UPI ID. NoQR does not validate the accuracy of the details you enter or confirm who owns them.

Never share your UPI PIN, OTP, bank credentials, or card details with anyone.

Availability and updates

The developer may change, pause, discontinue, remove, or stop updating NoQR at any time, with or without notice. The developer has no obligation to maintain the app, provide support, fix issues, or release future updates.

No warranties

NoQR is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer makes no warranty that the app will be accurate, secure, available, compatible with a particular device or UPI app, or free from errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for any loss, damage, failed transaction, incorrect recipient selection, delay, or other outcome arising from use of or inability to use NoQR.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Privacy

Your use of NoQR is also governed by the NoQR Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
