Privacy Policy for NoQR

NoQR is designed to work on your device. It reads nearby Wi-Fi names only to provide its core functionality. NoQR does not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information or nearby Wi-Fi information.

How NoQR works

NoQR accesses nearby Wi-Fi network information only while you use the app to provide its core functionality. NoQR does not process payments, access your bank account, or access your UPI PIN.

Information we access

NoQR requests permission to access nearby Wi-Fi information. Android may present this as a location-related permission because Android requires it for Wi-Fi scanning on certain device versions.

NoQR uses this access only while you use the app to read nearby Wi-Fi names. It does not use the information to determine, track, or store your physical location.

Nearby Wi-Fi names and UPI IDs

A nearby Wi-Fi name may contain a UPI ID or other text chosen by the Wi-Fi network owner. NoQR reads this information only on your device and may display matching UPI IDs so you can select one.

NoQR does not upload, retain, link, verify, or share nearby Wi-Fi names or UPI IDs. It does not confirm who owns a Wi-Fi network, business, or UPI ID. Always double-check and verify the recipient’s name in your UPI app before approving.

Information we do not collect

NoQR does not collect or store:

• Your name, email address, contacts, or account details
• Your precise location or location history
• Nearby Wi-Fi names or UPI IDs they may contain
• Financial information, payment history, bank details, or UPI PINs
• Analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or usage data

Data sharing

NoQR does not send information to our servers or to third parties. The app does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

If you choose to open another app from NoQR, that app is a separate service with its own privacy policy and terms. NoQR does not control how that app handles information.

Data retention and deletion

NoQR does not retain personal data or create user accounts. Because we do not receive or store your data, there is no user data held by us for you to request access to or deletion of.

Children's privacy

NoQR is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if NoQR's data practices change. Any update will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
